Mental Health Division

INTRODUCTION

When it comes to mental health our focus is on preventative mental health. Our entire platform is designed to support, and help you, prepare for the unexpected. The key to this is building a relationship with a practitioner who genuinely cares about you as a first line responder. If and when a incident occurs, you then have a trusted partner standing by your side. We have 17 locations in WA alone and the most innovative Telehealth platform across Australia that you can access from anywhere. And our partners are all Australian based companies with Australian based Psychologists.

The Psychologists / Counsellors we promote actively support and have a passion for first line responders. Over 200 registered Psychologists also support remote access which means you can Zoom or have a Teams Meeting with a preferred provider. So whilst you may live in another State or Territory you can easily, as a Member, reach out to a practitioner on the other side of the country if that works best for you. We believe this is vital especially in terms of senior people and the need for confidentiality.

Nation-Wide Support

Even though our platform is evolving and growing in size our focus will not change.

Our goal is to build a trusted team of qualified and accredited Counsellors and Psychologists who have a specific passion and understanding of first line responders. Note: we don’t provide a HOTLINE but rather, focus on delivering the highest quality service with a focus on preventative mental health, that’s delivered by qualified Psychologists, not volunteers.

Members simply head to the members page, assess our partners and the teams and reach out to someone they feel comfortable with, when they feel comfortable doing so.

Our Model

A key to our model is it’s independence.

Members choose the practitioner they wish to work with. It’s a relationship between you and the Counsellor / Psychologist. It’s at arms length to us and that’s how we would like it to stay.

Secondly, we do not seek or take government support. So we don’t need to report to an ‘authority’ on how many sessions are undertaken.

Moreover, we DO NOT make a single cent from the division. We simply partner with firms and practitioners, who deliver our members an amazing service.

Independence

Confidentiality

We do not monitor who seeks support or how many times this occurs. There is also zero monetary / financial gain for us. We DO NOT make money out of our mental health support program.

Our goal is to provide a platform that makes it simple and easy for members to find the support they need, when they need it. We remain at complete arms length. No personal details, emails, telephone numbers etc are shared with us. Members go direct every time.

Disclaimer

We do not provide a CRISIS or HOTLINE service or take government funding. If your needs are urgent, then we strongly suggest you call LIFELINE. We will ALWAYS be here for you. Just make sure you get the support you need now, and then revert back when you’re ready.

Rebates / Medicare & Existing Services

When you book a consultation you do so with the Psychologist through their practice or normal appointment methods. You DON’T book through us, as we remain at ‘arms length’. On this basis all the current private health rebates and medicare returns remain as they would normally.

And you can continue to claim these expenses against your employers existing policies.

Lastly, your employees existing EAP and support programs remain. We do not supercede these. We simply ‘compliment’ them.
